The following Area Members
are to be congratulated on their outstanding achievements at this season’s HOYS. Pollyanna Boyles She
was third in the Show Pony Lead Rein on Nantcol Sir Galahad lead by her
mother Emma. Charlotte Parry She
was third in the 153 cm Show Hunter Pony on Chiddock Valentine. This was after a season in which she was Winner of the class at the Royal
Show, Champion at Windsor and Supreme Champion at the Three Counties. Daisy
O’Halloran She
was fourth in the Intermediate Working Hunter on The Navigator II and was
also Winner of the Best Turned Out
Award The following Area Members
are to be congratulated on their outstanding achievements at this season’s Summer
Championships. Jamie Ryder-Phillips He was Winner
of the Free Style Heritage Ridden Pony Large Breeds on Atlantic Prince
of Peace. He was also Winner of the Rider of the Year (under 14) on Alderney Ontario. Hannah Horton She was Winner of the Rider of the Year (under 11) on Fairholme Rasputin. Jemima Perham She was Winner of her Lead Rein Class and then Mini Novice Champion on Rosmarmarch Hollyoak Daisy

Calder Impressionist Owned by Mrs Georgie Fry. Ridden by Lottie Fry. |
Known as “Imp”, this 148 cm chestnut gelding won 9 Championships in both Intermediate Show Riding Type and 148 Show Pony during the 2001 season. He was Winner in the Open
Show Pony and Blue Riband at the Championships and went on to be Blue Riband Reserve Champion. He then went on to be Winner of the Intermediate Show Riding Type at HOYS and finally Champion. In the 2002 season he was Winner in 8 of his 9 outings and was Champion 6 times and Reserve Champion twice. Wins included Windsor and Intermediate Show Riding Type at the RIHS. As a 148 cm Show Pony he was Winner at Mid-Shires, Ponies UK, NPS and Wincanton. He was 2nd in the Blue Riband at the Championships and 4th at the HOYS. |
