Blog and Newsletters
Firstly thank you to those who supported the Area 8 show on 2nd October – we could not have done it without you – (no seriously we could not have done it without you!)
The weather on the previous day left a lot to be desired and we lost some entries because of that but the sun shone and the ground was perfect. I hope those of you who did attend had a good day?
As mentioned last month, we are the situation of not having enough volunteers and committee member to make the area work which I thought was peculiar to our area but it appears not with Area 7 holding a crisis meeting in November.
I have always been a “cup half full” person but feel occasionally that if the shows and area don’t mean anything to its members, why am I working and struggling to provide them?

The AGM – will be held at 11am on 5 December 2010 in Thatcham just outside Newbury (map on request) so do let us know if you are able to attend.
At our most recent Committee meeting, Katie Wooster volunteered to take on the Newsletter and updating information on the website and she is hoping to do a “Rider Profile” each month – I do hope that you will support her by sending all sorts of interesting facts about yourself to her when she contacts you.
We would love a few more committee members as numbers have dwindled a bit. 4 or 5 meetings a year and no ties other than the odd job at a show, we don't bite - promise. Call Heather on 01189 721136 if you can help.
